Michael Proffitt – COO

Michael Proffitt – COO

Michael has worked across the UK, Europe, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Mexico, India, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. These projects have included the development of Free Trade Zones in Dubai, Mexico, India and Azerbaijan. Michael was the CEO of Dubai Logistics City (DLC) and a member of the Management Board of Dubai World Central (DWC) from 2004 to 2009, the initial phase of planning and development for this mega project. Prior to joining DLC Michael held senior executive positions in Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN/DHL) following the acquisition of Danzas by DPWN, where he was Executive Director of the Logistics Division and a member of the Danzas Board. A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is a qualified Accountant.

Daniel Huard

Daniel Huard – Chief Sustainability, Wellness and Governance Director.

LEED Fellow, WELL AP, PMP, CPMP, LFA.

Daniel is one of 258 LEED Fellows and holds a dozen professional designations beyond his professional degrees. He holds multiple professional accreditations including: LEED AP O+M as well as LEED AP BD+C from Green Business Certification Inc. and was elevated to LEED Fellow in 2017, PMP from Project Management Institute, Living Future Accredited from International Living Future Institute, GGA, GGP and GPCP from Green Building Initiative, WELL AP from the International WELL Building Institute in addition to ASHRAE Commissioning Process. Daniel has over 20 years’ experience and has held leadership positions at companies including Human Building Solutions LLC, DYOB, Inc., V2 Energy Solutions Inc., and General Motors of Canada. He has served as a Technical Subject Matter Expert to the U.S. Department of the Interior since 2009, the U.S Department of Defence since 2016 and has recently been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to be a part of their Building Envelope Technology Research Team.

Chris Brookes

Chris Brookes – Global MEP Operations Advisor

Chris has 22 years’ experience in global MEP operations and administration, latterly leading Leighton Group’s MEP division at board level. With projects including Data Centre’s, Airports, high-rise and mixed-use developments. His most recent projects include the Hong Kong T2, Huawei Data Centre, Etihad Staff Accommodation and the Four Seasons Hotel in Abu Dhabi. An accomplished individual who drives P&L’s, project controls, systems, processes and procedures, leading to significant savings in time and money.

Monis Khaleel – Head of Building Physics

Monis is a DAAD scholar and a qualified Energy Engineer, graduating in Germany, with years of experience in building energy research. He has worked on numerous projects including photovoltaics, concentrated solar power plants and building energy optimization. Monis has also worked on one of the largest space research projects in Germany during his tenure at the German Aerospace Center, Bremen. Working on the application of phase change materials on the EDEN ISS greenhouse to reduce HVAC energy consumption. Monis has extensive energy modelling and Digital TWIN experience on multiple energy modelling applications.

James Redwood

Experienced in technical architecture, build, testing and overall quality of commercially released development products at Tridium, Java and JavaScript development. Developed a REST API with OAuth 2.0 security allowing third party applications to integrate with the Niagara framework via JSON over secure HTTPS, a fully-featured charting module, a wide range of customizable features, touchscreen support, zooming/panning, live data update, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP/MySQL for Liverpool University, developed various proof of concept projects such as an MQTT driver, ESight. Energy Management integration and Amazon Alexa Integration to Niagara.

Scott Nauert

Scott has 36 years’ experience of construction, venture capital and legal representation of new technology and has been chiefly responsible for structuring a variety of startup ventures in construction, telecommunications, and energy efficiency. Scott was involved in the convergence of traditional telecom and video broadcast technology through the years and was Director of Carrier Services, for USA Global Link - the world’s largest call-back company with annual sales of $350 million dollars. This backbone network structure supported over $1.7 Billion dollars in annual long-distance revenues. Scott is also a qualified Lawyer from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California.
